Small Group Coaching

Biweekly relationship support in small groups

Small group coaching is a way to get experiential support around relationship topics. Each group will be limited to a max of 8 people (12 for the couples group), we will meet bi-weekly for 10 weeks for 110 minutes. Each participant will have an opportunity to be coached by Libby while everyone else observes. The other participants will observe the work and reflect on the work together after the coaching. These groups will only be live and will not be recorded.

Below are the group coaching containers I’m offering (click the link to sign up):

I'm Libby

Hi,

Hi, I’m Libby. I always knew I wanted to do relationships differently. In part, because I was just different - what seemed to work for other people just didn’t work for me. But also, when I looked around, I mostly saw people in relationships that were maybe stable, but didn’t seem all that happy. I decided I wanted not just happy, but extraordinary.

Today I’m happy to say that I have the love in my life that I always wanted, and it is more beautiful, nourishing, and wildly loving than anything I could have imagined.

If that’s something you are looking for, I want it for you too.

To support other people on their relational journeys, I host the podcast Making Polyamory Work, coach people privately, and run a group program called Foundations of Open Relating for Wild and Tender Hearts. My work uses an integrated combination of modalities aimed at creating relational joy. I am trained in consent culture, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Relational Life Therapy, Developmental and Relational Trauma, and the Gottman Method. I believe love is why we are here and how we heal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will this work?

Each container will have max 8 people (6 couples for the couples group). We will meet every other week for 10 sessions. The sessions will be 110 minutes long. We’ll have a kick-off call, and then each participant (or couple) will be able to sign up for a week to receive hot-seat coaching on one of the subsequent calls. We’ll have one final call to close the container.

The general flow of the calls will be:

10 minutes of brief check-in

60-80 minutes of hot seat coaching

20-40 minutes of discussion and reflection

If it’s a group program, will I get personal attention?

Yes! Every participant will receive coaching from Libby. During the discussion and reflection there is also opportunity for spot-coaching around what got stirred in you. Also, you’d be surprised how often someone else is working on the same issue that you are! If there’s a desire for more individual attention, you can have the option to book up to 2 private sessions with Libby at a discounted rate.

What if I can't make the calls?

This is a live-only coaching container, so if you miss a call, there is no recording - you will miss it. It’s also a small group, so if you’re not there, you will also be missed! I would not recommend signing up to be part of a container where you have to miss more than 1 or 2 calls.

What else do I get from signing up?

In addition to the biweekly group meetings, you will have access to a group Signal chat to stay connected between calls (optional). You will also have access to the self-paced portion of Foundations of Open Relating - which includes all of the pillars of the framework I teach.

I call that framework Integrated Open Relating, and it’s rooted in the belief that loving relationships are not just ethical and consensual, but also integrated with our values, strengthened by mutual empowerment, build security, increase wellbeing, and are a source of pleasure and meaning in our lives.

Are there refunds?

If you register early and something comes up such that you are unable to participate in the container, and give notice at least 48 hours prior to the start, you can receive a refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Once the group has started, your registration is not refundable.

Will there be replays?

This offering is only live - there will be no recordings..

What happens after the program ends?

In other group offerings I’ve created, many participants choose to stay in touch after the container closes. Someday I hope to offer a retreat for past participants in my offerings!

The cost is out of my reach. Is there accessibility pricing?

I endeavor to price all my offerings as affordably as I can while also reflecting the value and time it takes to offer them. I’m committed to making my offerings accessible - and also my work has to sustain my life. There are two ways I have worked to make this program accessible for folks:

1: There is a payment plan available at no additional cost for everyone.

2: Sliding scale discounts.

These discounts are for people who have systemic or historic economic hardship. If you are experiencing temporary cash flow problems, I encourage you to just wait until you have the available funds and pay the full price. (In 2025, we’re all in this together!)

If you wish to access an accessibility discount, here are the guidelines:

Tier 1

If you are struggling to conquer debt or build savings or move away from paycheck to paycheck living but have access to steady income and are not spending most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc. and don't have partners or family members as a source of financial support, consider this tier.

If you type in the code TIER1 at checkout - you will get 20% off the full price.

Tier 2

If you are historically marginalized, disabled or struggle to maintain access to needs such as health care, housing, food, child care, and are living paycheck to paycheck or are in significant debt, consider this tier.

If you type in the code TIER2 at checkout - you will get 40% off the full price.

Sliding scale discounts apply to the one-time payment and the payment plans equally.
